Enable Loyalty in the Yoco App. Set your earn rate. Done.

Switch on Loyalty

Open the Yoco App, go to the Manage tab, set your earn rate and activate.

Choose what percentage of each sale becomes points. You set the number; Yoco runs the maths. Earn rate is editable anytime. Tap Activate.

Customers register at the terminal after their first payment. Every tap after that earns automatically.

They enter their phone number once with your Yoco card machine after paying. Every tap after that earns automatically.


You set your own rate in the Yoco App. Most start between 2% and 5%. Change it anytime.


Yes. Merchants can update their earn rate at any time through the Yoco app, and the change takes effect immediately.

Customers keep all points they have already earned under the previous rate.

Note that your minimum spend threshold is fixed at setup and cannot be changed after activation.


No. Points earned through Yoco Loyalty do not expire. Customer point balances remain active and available until they are redeemed.


Customers do not lose their points if their phone number changes. Because Yoco Loyalty is linked to a phone number, customers should contact Yoco support to transfer their account, including their full points balance, to their new number.

There is no need to sign up again.


Per-customer reporting is not currently available.

The Yoco app shows three aggregate totals for your Loyalty programme: total points issued, points not yet redeemed, and the number of active Loyalty customers.


No. An internet connection is required to earn and redeem Loyalty points. Yoco Counter and Neo Touch devices run in cloud mode, so connectivity is a standard requirement for these devices.
