Yoco Savings is an automated business savings tool built directly into the Yoco App. It is designed to help you set money aside from your sales without having to think about it.

You choose a percentage of your net earnings, and Yoco automatically reserves that amount into a dedicated savings pocket inside the app with every sale you make. There are no manual transfers, no separate accounts, and no admin.

Yoco Savings is provided by an authorised Financial Services Provider.

A pocket is where your savings live inside the Yoco App, similar to a dedicated account. You can name each pocket based on what you are saving towards, whether that is December stock, a VAT payment, or a new coffee machine, and track its progress over time.

Each pocket has its own savings rate, so you can set aside different percentages for different goals. You can have up to three pockets at a time.

Most business owners manage their reserves mentally, keeping track of what is set aside for VAT, salaries, or a quiet month ahead. Yoco Savings takes that mental load off you and handles it automatically.

You set your savings rule once, and money is reserved as you earn it. That way, when big costs come around, the funds are already there.

When you set up a pocket, you choose a percentage of your daily net earnings. Each day at around 23:59, that share moves into your pocket and the rest goes to your payout.

Open the Yoco App, go to the Money tab, and tap the Yoco Savings widget and follow the prompts.

You can withdraw from your pocket at any time. Open your pocket, tap "Withdraw," and the funds move to your nominated bank account instantly. Your money is reserved for your goals, not locked away.

No. There's no extra cost to set money aside, no minimum balance, and no lock-in periods.

Yes, you can create up to three personalised pockets, each with its own goal and progress, and manage your savings allocation across them.

Yes. You're in full control. Adjust your percentage, pause a pocket, or withdraw whenever you need to.

Yoco Savings is available to fully verified, owner-operated South African businesses on Yoco.

To be eligible, you will need:

• a valid mobile number on your account

• a valid 13-digit South African ID

• a completed verification check

• to be a sole proprietor or a single-director, single-shareholder company

If you do not see Yoco Savings in your app yet, it usually means one of the above requirements has not been completed. Reach out to Yoco support for help getting set up.

Manual deposits into your savings pocket are not currently supported. Funds are added automatically based on the percentage of your daily net earnings that you set when creating your pocket.
