Yoco Counter is a countertop POS system built for businesses with a fixed checkout point. It comes with a 12" HD touchscreen tablet on a weighted stand, Yoco POS software pre-installed, and works with the Neo Touch card machine for payments.

Counter connects primarily via Wi-Fi. The Neo Touch card machine has a SIM for backup connectivity, so payments can continue even if your Wi-Fi drops. The R49/month connectivity fee keeps that SIM active. Full load-shedding resilience also depends on power backup for the tablet itself - Counter does not have a built-in battery.

Counter has pin-protected staff logins with permission controls built in natively. You can assign different access levels to staff members - for example, restricting who can process refunds or apply discounts. Sales, refunds, and discounts are all linked to individual staff profiles, so you always know what happened and who actioned it.

Yes, but you need the Yoco Printer as an add-on - it's not included in the base bundle. The Yoco Printer connects via USB or Bluetooth, prints itemised bills and receipts, and works exclusively with Yoco POS software. It costs R2,899.
